Essential cookies and storage

These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They cover things like keeping your session secure, remembering that a notice has been dismissed, applying rate limits and, for administrators, keeping a signed-in session. They do not track you across other websites.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used. It runs with Google Consent Mode v2: before you accept the analytics category, analytics storage is set to “denied”, so no analytics cookies or identifiers are placed on your device and only anonymous, cookieless signals may be sent. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure pages viewed, searches performed and general device or country information. You can withdraw consent at any time through cookie preferences, and analytics storage is denied again immediately.

Advertising cookies

We use Google AdSense to show advertising on this website. Advertising consent is collected through Google’s certified consent management platform(Google Funding Choices, registered under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework), which appears as a separate Google message where required. The AdSense tag is not loaded at all until that consent signal is given, and Google Consent Mode keeps ad storage and ad personalisation denied until then. If you consent, Google and its certified partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, which may include personalised advertising, governed by Google’s own privacy notice. You can withdraw or change that consent at any time using “Manage with Google” in our cookie preferences, and the tag will not load again.

Third-party cookies

Where a licence result page displays a map, that map is provided by Google Maps. Loading a map may set Google cookies or equivalent storage on your device and sends technical information to Google, governed by Google’s own privacy notice. Because of that, maps are treated as non-essential: nothing is requested from Google until you allow it, and until then we show a written location summary with a button to load the map once or to allow maps permanently. Maps are used only for approximate municipality or locality orientation and never point to an exact property.

Consent

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Nothing optional — maps, and any analytics or advertising we may add in future — is loaded before you decide, and declining is as easy as accepting. Your choice is stored on your device so we do not have to ask again; that record is itself strictly necessary. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie preferences link, which is also in the footer of every page.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working correctly.
