Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to check a licence number, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is considered when pages are built rather than added afterwards.
What we do
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields throughout.
- Keyboard access to search, navigation and all interactive controls, with visible focus.
- Text contrast checked against AA thresholds, and layouts that reflow on small screens.
- Plain English wording, with Spanish registration terms explained where they appear.
- Results that do not depend on colour alone to convey their meaning.
Known limitations
- Interactive maps are supplied by a third party and may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. The same location information — municipality and province — is always available as text on the record, so no information is only available through the map.
- Some source data is published in Spanish only and is shown as recorded, which may cause screen readers to pronounce place names using English rules.
- Older documents or third-party advertising content may not meet the same standard.
