What we show
- Direct advertising placements booked with us and served by us. No third-party advertising network is currently active on this website.
- Sponsored and featured professional listings in our directory, where a business pays for greater prominence.
- Affiliate links, covered separately in our affiliate disclosure.
How placements are labelled
Paid placements carry a clear label such as “Sponsored”, “Featured Partner” or “Advertisement”. If you cannot tell whether something is paid, please tell us — that is a fault on our side.
Editorial independence
- Advertisers have no access to, or influence over, the licence database.
- A licence result is identical whether or not anyone has paid us anything.
- Advertisers cannot commission, review or veto guidance or area content.
- We turn down advertising that implies official status or guarantees licence approval.
