Enter the regional tourism registration shown on the accommodation listing, exactly as it appears. If you enter a recognised national ESFCTU identifier, we’ll explain what type of number it is. Different registration types have different levels of public-data availability, so a “not found” result does not necessarily mean the accommodation is unregistered.
Accepted formats include VUT/MA/39777, vut/ma/39777, VUT MA 39777 and VUT-MA-39777. The search normalises your entry before checking the database.
Our detailed searchable registration database currently focuses on Málaga province and the Costa del Sol. Additional areas of Spain can be added as the service expands.
Coverage differs by registration category. Holiday-rental homes (VUT, and the older VFT format) are held at close to full official coverage for Málaga province and the Costa del Sol. Tourist apartment establishments (A) and hotels (H) are only published in part by the official open-data service, so a valid registration in those categories may not appear here. Finding a registration in our records does not confirm that a property is legal, safe or currently authorised — always check the details against the advert and the official registers.
